Clique Kits Pep Rally featuring J'Adore!

Good Morning!! I always love a good blog share and I can't WAIT for this one! The J'Adore kit has been my FAV FAV FAV Kit so far!!

The challenge:  Add a POP of Neon to your project! This month's kit is filled with beautiful pastels contrasted with black and white. It also mixes and matches BOLD patterns with soft watercolor brush strokes.
I think I used a POP of Neon in every one of my layouts this month! My first layout

My first layout was inspired by Kat's awesome sketch that she made for this month's anything goes challenge!

I actually made a process video for this one, but realized after I was done that it only recorded 13 minutes of it! :( Oh well, I'll try again next time!

I am in LOVE with this paper!! I haven't felt like I didn't even want to use it because I love it so much and I only have one in a long time! I need to get more for my collection! lol  I thought it was so perfect for this picture of my youngest playing with paint and marbles! I used a stencil and some modeling paste that I coloured layered underneath the picture and hand cut the word Art. I also used a super cute chalkboard heart from the Clique Kits store!

For this layout I used one of the cut files that comes with the kit. these divided shapes are so in right now and I love piecing them with different patterns to make a cool background!
For this layout, I was playing around with typography and stamps and I made that my focal point. I couldn't believe that Linden actually fell asleep in the middle of his lunch! Poor little guy! I guess that's what happens when you don't nap! lol

For this last layout, I went with an 8.5x11 and I decided to do one about my weight loss/exercise journey...I saw this quote on a mug and I knew I wanted to use it on this layout! I love how it turned out!

Well there you have it! I have had so much fun with this kit!! Thanks for stopping by! And don't forget to leave some love on everyone's blogs for a chance to win some goodies!!

Here's the blog line up!  Now onto Marcia's blog!

Clique Kits Pep Ralley Featuring Punxutawney!!

Good Morning Bloggers! I'm so excited to be a part of this month's blog share! I can't wait to hop along too! This kit is so full of goodies, I just love it! Sadly, I haven't had much play time with it though...until this weekend! I'm going to another crop and I will be bringing my Clique Kits!

If you didn't start off at the beginning, head on over to the Clique Kits Blog and start from there!!

The challenge:  February is the month of love, which of course means gifts of sweet treats all around! Don't forget that in addition to Valentine's Day on February 14th, there is also Galantine's Day on February 13th! This new holiday was founded by none other than Amy Pohler (Parks and Recreation's Leslie Knope) one of my all time favorite non-scrapbooking related celebrities! The February kit contains so many fun sweet treat elements like ice cream cones and my personal favorite...donuts! So, this month's challenge is to use something SWEET in a project! Bonus points if you too celebrate Galentine's Day with your BFF's! I actually had a picture taken of my sister, grandma, mom and I when we went out for lunch on Galentine's Day and I fully planned on scrapping it, but life has had different plans for me...

I did get this layout done earlier of my 6 year old Caleb when he was a baby! I can't believe how fast time flies! So, I think this counts for something sweet! lol He's too sweet for words, and there's a pineapple on the page! Those can be sweet treats can't they? :) I'm on a clean eating kick right now, so if I wanted something sweet, that's about as good as it gets! HA!

I had posted in the Clique a while ago about current trends that I wasn't crazy about, and Pineapples were on that list...actually, it was the only thing on the list! lol If there's ever something that I'm not loving in the scrapbooking world, it usually ends up growning on me...it's no different with the pineapples! lol I absolutely LOVE this little gold embossed fruit!

How awesome is this black flower washi? If you don't usually follow my blog, you might not know of my slight severe washi addiction, and this one really did NEED to be in my collection!

I just love these die cuts that came in the kit too! They all come in white, so you can leave them white, or alter them to your liking! I used a water brush and dipped it into my Heidi Swapp Color Shine to peach this puppy up! I love how it turned out!

Here's the line up for the hop. If you haven't started at the beginning, you really should! And don't forget to leave some love for everyone too! One lucky commenter will be winning a prize!

If you're in the mood to shop, head over to the Clique Kits Shop, and use my coupon code SARAH10 for an extra 10% off everything in the store!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Everyday Awesome: Clique Kits Blog Share

Hey Bloggers! I'm so excited to be taking part in the Clique Kits Member Blog Share again! I so enjoy playing along with the girls in the Clique each month! If you didn't come from Stephanie's blog, then please head back to the Clique Kits blog to start at the beginning! You're not going to want to miss this! There's prizes and TONS of fab inspiration!

This month our challenge was to be inspired by this fabulous mood board! How could you NOT be inspired by this gorgeousness?! Love it!

I took my inspiration from the black and white photos, the cameras and the watercolours. I have to say, I am in love with this layout! It came together so beautifully for me and I am so happy with how it turned out! Do you ever have layouts that you finish and you're like "yeah, this is awesome"? lol That was one of these for me ;) It doesn't happen all the time, but ya gotta love it when it does!!

The papers in this kit are just amazing! I am absolutely in love with them! The Lemon Owl Collection?! Oh. My Word! It's so pretty!!

Oh, and I couldn't even post this without mentioning how stinkin cute this picture is! This is one of those pictures that just makes me so grateful that I was able to capture this moment and makes me feel so blessed for the life that God has given us! It's just pure awesome!

I knew I wanted to do some watercolouring in this layout and those black and white cameras are just perfect! I just randomly painted some of them in that gorgeous teal colour, not really worrying about being in the lines or not. I love the look that creates!

and check out the flair that came in this month's kit? *sigh* sooo in love with that pie chart one!

I have only made two layouts with this kit so far, but I can't wait to have more time to finish this one off! I think I say this every month, but I think this is my favourite kit so far!

Thanks for stopping by!

Glam Camp and Epiphany Crafts...What could be better than this?! (warning, photo heavy! may lead to overdose of inspiration!)

Goooood Morning Bloggers!
It's the Clique Kits Blog Share today featuring the gorgeous kit, "Glam Camp"! If you're hopping along with us and you came here from the ever amazing Katie's blog, then you're on the right track! If you just wandered in here and would like to check out all the fabulousness that is this blog share (and I highly recommend you do), then head on over to the Clique Kits blog to start it off!

Here's a list of all of the uber talented ladies that are sharing their projects using this FAB kit:

I made this mini album for a Guest DT spot over at Epiphany Crafts! I feel so honored to have been chosen to Guest for Epiphany Crafts! I have been in love with the Shape Studio tools since I first found them a few years ago, so it's a real blessing to be a part of their Design Team for a while! :)

When I opened up my Glam Camp kit, I knew it was going to go perfectly with these pictures of our vacation to Kelowna! I was right! ;) I used my Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Round 14 and the washi tape that came in the kit (which just so happens to be my favourite all time washi that I was almost out of, so I was sooooo happy to see it in the kit! yay for me!! lol), to make these fabulous custom epoxy shapes! Woohoo!

I just HAD to document this, because as a hairdresser my boys have NEVER had their hair cut by anyone else but me, but I had been SOOO busy that I just couldn't get it done, so the first thing we did before we even got all the way to Kelowna was to stop in Vernon and get the boys' hair cut! Caleb and Kieran liked it...Ethan, not so much! LOL!

Aren't these Chic Tags banner alphas adorbs?!! Also, this Heart tool is one of my new favs. Just sayin ;)

I used the Shape Studio Chevron 25 and made some adorable photo corners!
My husband's "mom away from home" just loved giving Linden his first freeze!! He loved it too! LOL!

Watercolour is so in right now and I had some scrap paper that I had painted for a different layout and I thought I'd try making some chevron bubble caps with them too...totally LOVE how they turned out! The watercolour paper was a little bit harder to punch through, but it worked!

I just LOVE this MME collection that was showcased in the Glam Camp kit! It's funny, because the first time I saw it I thought it was a bit too girly for me...but after using it, I am definitely in love and I managed to create an entire mini album full of pictures of 4 boys with it!

I tried something different with the Round 14 Bubble caps on the "play" page. I stamped those cute little hearts and embossed them in gold then created these super cute little embellishments! I still can't get enough of that amazing washi from last month's Clique Kits "A Midsummer Night's Dream"! le sigh...so in love! ;)

Do you think I might be a little obsessed with the Chevron?!  I've almost used up an entire package since I got them in the end of July! lol!

Linden was soooo funny on the beach for the first time! He just LOVED the sand! He didn't love it so much when he tried to eat it, but he definitely loved the feel of it!

My husband is such a good daddy! He has so much patience and grace for his boys! It's a huge blessing to see them working together doing "guy things" lol

I still have a whole bunch of this lovely kit left and I plan on digging into it tonight! Can't wait!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Now it's off to the amazingly talented Cassandra's blog!

Blessings!!

Happy Birthday Gia!! (A Blog Hop From the Clique! and a freebie!!)

Good Morning Bloggers!!
Today is a super fun day because it's Gia's birthday! So we surprised her with some fun birthday cards and a little blog share to celebrate!  She is such a wonderful person and amazingly talented crafter, it was an honor to be a part of this blog share for her!!

   HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIA!!!

If you just happened along here and want to join the hop, you can start off over at The Clique Kits Blog!! If you came here from Lacey's Blog then you're right on track! :)

I was watching some really fun videos that Gia made over at the Clique Kits Summer School about watercoloring recently, so I thought it would be perfect to make her a card using my watercolors! I always love breaking out all the paints and inks and getting messy!! It's like therapy to me! ;)

I had a few things left over from the Midsummer Night's Dream kit like this super fun hashtag and a bit of paper scraps, so I fussy cut this adorable vintage typewriter and stamped the "news flash!" on it then added the die cut "Happy Birthday" to finish it off!

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out! I hope you like it Gia!!

The girls over at Clique Kits wanted to give away a FREE cut file to everyone for Gia's birthday, so if you didn't pick it up at the Clique Kits blog and you want it, you can either head back there, or you can stop by their Digital Store and pick it up there!

Thank you so much for hopping along with us! Please stop by the Clique Kits blog and say Happy Birthday to Gia!! Now, head on over to the ever so fabulous Madge's Blog!!
