Clique Kits Pep Rally and Southern Ridge DT!

Good Morning Everyone!!

I hope you're as excited for the Clique Kits Blog Share as I am!! I have loved playing with this kit soooo much! It's so full of awesomeness I can barely handle it!!

I have a bit of a funny story about how this project came about...yesterday, I realized it was the 23rd of September...which means the blog share is the next day...THEN I realized that I hadn't made anything for it yet! AAAKKK!! Soooo, once the kids were in bed I got to playing with my kit and deciding what I wanted to do...well, you know when you're in a hurry and nothing ever works out for you? Yup! That was me last night! I couldn't get my pictures to print, and my computer was totally glitching out on me! Then at midnight, the baby woke up...so I went downstairs to our bedroom (because that's the only place he will sleep!) to nurse him...and guess what?! I fell asleep too!! I woke up again at 4 am when my husband's alarm clock went off! HA! So, in true hardcore scrapper fashion, I woke up to finish my project!! LOL!! This seriously could only happen to me!! LOL!!

I definitely think it was worth getting up early for...what do you think?! ;)

I wanted to make this for my oldest son Ethan. He is such an amazing big brother! I also know that now I have to make 3 more of these too! lol I got this fabulous wooden frame from Southern Ridge Trading Company. I am totally in love with it! It even comes with the squares that were cut out so you can use them for another project!!

Here are some close ups:

Not everything was from my kit. I used some Epiphany Crafts chevrons, the wood veneer, frame, and chipboard pieces are from Basic Grey and there's a couple little cards from my stash :)

This alphabet that I used is a brand new one (not even released quite yet!! You can look for it in the store tomorrow!! You're welcome for the sneak peek!! lol) from The Cut Shoppe!! I'm in LOVE with it!!!

Well there you have it!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! Next stop is Alisha!!

Here's the entire line up, in case you get lost, or if you didn't start from the beginning (you really should if you haven't!!)

Blessings!!

The Cut Shoppe (Cutest Little Coffee Drinker!)

Hello My Lovelies!

I'm popping in today to share a layout that was on The Cut Shoppe blog a few days ago! I am in love with this "Geo to Go" cut file! It's so fun! I used it as a layer under my photo, and I also used the geo tag cut outs from the file and painted them black with the super fun chalkboard paint from my Clique Kits kit and used them as journaling spots! I really love how it turned out!

This cut file will definitely be one I use again and again! It's just such a versatile cut file! I can totally see it being used for travel themed layouts, or rainy day layouts, spring, summer, really the possibilities are endless!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Don't forget to play along with our September Cut it Out Challenge!!

Back to School and On a Date with Epiphany Crafts!

Helloooo Bloggers!!
I wanted to pop in and share a couple layouts that were on the Epiphany Crafts blog a few days ago!
I’m soooo happy to say that I’m going to be sticking around on the Epiphany Crafts DT until December!! I am so very excited to be a part of this team!
Anyway, onto my layouts!  This year my second son has started Kindergarten and It’s definitely bitter sweet! I love that he’s growing into such a big boy, but I hate how fast it’s going by!
For this layout I used the Chevron 25 to point out the “2”. It’s one of my favorite shape tools out of the whole collection!

I also made this layout of a very rare occurrence in our house…Date Night! With 4 kids this doesn’t happen very often, but I love it when it does and I definitely want to document it! When our kids look back at my scrapbooks I want them to know that we not only loved being their parents, but we loved being married to each other too! So of course I had to use the Heart 25 tool for this one (Which just so happens to be our Shape of the Month…meaning IT’S ON SALE!!) I used it as a punch and also with the bubble cap. Love those things!

You can check out close ups to both of these layouts on the Epiphany Crafts blog!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
Blessings,

The Cut Shoppe and Clique Kits Team Up Blog Hop!

Good Morning Bloggers! I'm not sure it gets any better than this!! The Cut Shoppe teamed up with Clique Kits (My favourite kit company), and we're celebrating by doing a blog hop complete with discounts and giveaways! So if you just happened to stop by my blog, I seriously recommend you stop here and start hopping!

Now, Ashley, the crazy talented owner of The Cut Shoppe, created these fabulous cut files exclusively for this team up! Every release she does just amazes me, and this one is no exception! Aren't they awesome?! The best part is, you can get 15% off your purchase of 5 dollars or more between now and September 21st using  the coupon code HOP17!!! WOOOHOOO!!

For my first layout I used the "This Way" cut file and just resized it so it wasn't going to cut out my whole 12x12 paper :) I am soooo loving all of these amazing embellishments this kit came with! It's packed full of so many goodies, including this super awesome glitter washi from Pink Fresh Studios! EEEK!! I love me some glitter washi!

How cool is that origami heart?! I think I'm in love!

These giant wood arrows are so cool! They were painted different colours on either side! My only problem is that I needed more of them!! HA!

For my second layout I used "Notebook Doodles" and "Right on Target".  I went over the "love" cut with a black pen so it stood out more and backed it with one of my favourite patterned papers in this kit! I am pretty sure I don't even have any more of it left...and that makes me sad!

I really love the triangle sequins that came in this kit too! I sprinkled them with the round ones and another one of those fabulous origami hearts to add a little more interest to my page and point your eye towards the picture :)

The wood veneer circle is from my stash, but I thought it went perfectly with this layout, so I had to use it!

I had a ton of fun playing along with this faaabulous kit from Clique Kits and as always I LOVE using The Cut Shoppe files! So if you love them too and want to win some goodies from each of these amazing companies, then you need to head over to The Cut Shoppe Blog (which just so happens to be your next stop) AND the Clique Kits Blog and leave them some love! The Cut Shoppe is giving away a 15 dollar gift certificate to their store, and Clique Kits is giving away a bundle of goodies from this kit, including a Studio Tekturek paper pack and some Pink Fresh goodies!!

Here's the list of all the hops along the way! Now head on over to The Cut Shoppe blog!

Summer Mini in a SN@P ;)

Hey Bloggers! This is a very picture heavy post, so I'll try not to talk too much!! HA!

I wanted to stop in and share this fun mini album I've been making using this gorgeous SN@P album and the Simple Stories "Good Day Sunshine" collection! It is definitely my favourite summer collection this year!

I am absolutely in LOVE with this chevron album! As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it! The organic feel of the burlap with the kraft and blue chevies are just gorgeous! *sigh* I love the way the starfish from SRTC go so well with that whole organic feel!

^^^^^These cute triangle cut files are FREE in the Scrapbook Nerd store along with some other very cool Fall cut files from The Cut Shoppe!!^^^^^

This summer was so fun with all of our boys! As much as I am trying to cherish the baby phase that Linden is in, I'm really looking forward to him being a little more independant too!

This is my favourite picture of Linden this summer! I'm definitely going to be scrapping this in 12x12 too!

Well there you have it! Thank you so much for stopping by!! You can get all of these fabulous products at Scrapbook Nerd! Their prices really are amazing and their customer service is second to none! I'm not even just saying that because I'm on their DT! They really are amazing!

Blessings!!
