Happiness

So I told you I've been getting in a bit of scrapping lately! lol Sometimes I think I just need to not worry about the laundry and the dishes and just get some creative time in...for my own sanity!

I was checking out a bunch of scrappy blogs the other day when I came across LG's Scrapbook World and she had this amazing layout that I was instantly inspired by. I immediately knew I wanted to scraplift it! You can click on the link above to check hers out.  I loved that she made her circle with her mist and that was kind of the starting point on this layout. I also knew I wanted to play along with Joy's challenge over at Scrapbook Nerd's Summer Camp. It's a colour challenge and I think it's a pretty great palette!

here's some close ups: I had fun with a lot of different elements on this page. I'm on a bit of a sequin bender lately! I painted my wood veneer to go with the colour scheme on this layout too.

The camera was die cut from a Tim Holtz die after I covered some cardboard in washi tape. I'm kinda loving that camera...I think you will definitely be seeing on more things in the near future!

Well, I'm off...going to (hopefully) finish my cuppa coffee before Linden wakes up! I might even get to load the dishwasher too!

Blessings!

Baby Kisses

So I'm typing this one handed with a fussy baby in my arms< so this is going to be a super quick post!

I made this layout for Michelle's challenge over at Scrapbook Nerd's Summer Camp. She is challenging us to use stars! There's still a week left of camp so come join us!

I used this fab sketch from the Paper Bakery for this layout:

Well Linden is telling me to get my butt off the computer, so I will leave you with that!

Blessings!

Baby Moore # 4 and Holy a Layout!!!

He's finally here! Well, he's been here for 18 days now! I would like to welcome the newest addition to the Moore family: Linden Isaiah, born on August 6th at 6:05pm, weighing in at 8lbs 13oz and 20 inches long!

He is a fabulous baby, who actually slept from 10:30pm-7:30am last night at 17 days old! That to me is simply amazing because I have had no newborns ever do that for me!

Daddy couldn't be more proud!

And either could biggest brother Ethan! We all love him so much, and now that he's here I couldn't imagine life without him!

And can you believe it? I've actually managed some scrappy time for myself too! I must say it feels so good to get crafty after a long time away from it! I was so busy before Linden was born that it has been ages it seems since I put pictures to paper! You know your life is busy when you can't wait for your fourth baby to be born so you can relax! lol

Anyway, I thought I would play along with the peeps over at Scrap Our Stash for this layout. Their challenge is to use this sketch and to use a game piece on your layout. I used the #5 circle thingy...I'm not sure if that counts, but it seemed like a game piece to me...like a chip or something...lol

I just love this picture of Caleb savoring that smoore!

Well, it's almost 1am here and I'm crazy for being awake still, I know, but I'm kind of enjoying my time to myself...I am crossing my fingers that Linden lets me sleep for a while!!

I actually got another couple layouts done lately too, so stay tuned for some more scrappy goodness coming up on my blog!

Blessings!
