Happy Everything Blog Share!!

Good Morning!! It's time for another fabulous Pep Rally with Clique Kits!! I love that they do this each month! The Clique Kits subscribers are a very talented bunch, so I really do love going and checking out what they've made with their kits! If you didn't start at Clique Kits, head over there now! The challenge:  Celebration Month! This April, Clique Kits is celebrating our 1 year Anniversary. We are so excited that we have been able to share our passion for scrapbooking and build such a supportive international community. Show us a celebration of any kind. It could be a birthday, anniversary, wedding, reunion, or just an everyday party...you can either show us in a layout, make a card for any celebration, or  show us how you use your supplies for party decor-the sky's the limit! 

I decided with my Project Life I will do a monthly spread instead of weekly, because I find it way too hard to keep up otherwise. So this is January. We celebrated Caleb's 6th birthday in January. I can't believe my baby is already 6!

This picture is from years ago at the carnival...back when we only had 2 kids! I just love this picture though and I thought it went so perfectly with this line! I am in love with all the puffy stickers and gold in this kit!! I printed off the exclusive kit printables with vellum and used one of them just to the left of the photo as the base to my layers.

This layout I used a fun photo editing app called Rhonna Designs. You can see a little tutorial for how I did it here.  I've been on a thread kick lately...I just love using little balls of random thread placed here and there on my layouts for a little added texture!

My last layout I did with this kit is my fav! I had so much fun getting messy and creating this layout! That wood veneer piece that came in the kit is epic! I have really loved seeing how everyone creates something so different with it! 

I haven't quite killed this kit, but sadly I just haven't had much time for scrapping this month! I am definitely hoping to fix that this month!! I've already got some plans brewing for National Scrapbook Day in May!! What are your plans? I hope you're joining us at Clique Kits for a weekend of awesome challenges and prizes!! Happy Everything With Clique Kits

Hey Bloggers! I've been having a lot of fun playing with Clique Kit's 1st Anniversary kit Happy Everything! It's jam packed with one of my favourite manufacturers, Pink Fresh Studios! I LOVE this line! It's just amazing! It's full of  gold embossed fabulousness and bright coloured and funky patterns and you can't forget the puffy stickers...right Wendy?! lol!! 

This first layout has such an old picture on it (it seems). It's from when Caleb (our 6 year old) was a baby! We took Ethan and Caleb to the carnival when it came to town, and Ethan went on the Ferris Wheel! I didn't get a good picture of him on it, but I really liked this picture, so I thought I would use it to tell the story!

I used a sketch from Stuck?! Sketches for the first layout, but I didn't get it linked up in time to play along...lol 

This next layout I had a lot of fun creating! You can see how I played with the background at the Clique Kits blog!

 I'm in love with those hearts and that wood veneer! Oh! Did you see the exclusive printables that I used here? I printed them on vellum to give them a soft feel to go with this paper :) I added one of the Pink Fresh rub ons to one of the tag printables in the top right corner. Those rub ons are amazing! They're the best ones I think I've ever used!
