Clique Kits Tailor Made Pep Rally!

Good Morning Bloggers!! It's Pep Rally time!! I can't wait to go and check out what everyone has made with this kit! It has been my absolute FAV so far! I think I say that every time I see the new kits, but seriously, this really is my fav! lol You should have come here from the ever so talented Lacey's Blog. The challenge:  In the true spirit of Tailor Made, we want to see something sewn, stitched, embroidered, quilted, knitted, or crocheted on your project this month!  For extra credit, share some goals, hopes and dreams for the new year, or even your "word" of the year if you choose one.

I didn't do  the extra credit, but I definitely stiched all over these layouts! I just got a new sewing machine for Christmas so chances are, if I made it, it's got sewing on it! lol

By the time I made these two layouts, I was pretty much out of embellishments from the kit, so I used some of my extras that I had from the Homecoming kit. I still had tons left from that one because I just still haven't had a chance to use it! :(

I have had so much fun with this kit! It's so jam packed full of goodies, I managed to get 4 layouts, my PL title page and a double PL spread all with this one kit! Awesome!  Now, you should be off to the amazing Bonita Rose!! I'm off to check out all the inspiration!!

My "something mini" that I used was this ADORABLE mini heat die that came in the January Tailor Made kit! I am in LOVE with it!!

I cut out a bunch of them, then just scattered them around my layout! I really love the effect of random confetti like shapes!

Hoppin With The Cut Shoppe!!

Hiya Bloggers and Welcome to The Cut Shoppe Blog Hop!

 For this layout I used The Cut Shoppe's sketch too! Did you know they have a sketch challenge going on for the month of August?! Well now you do! lol!

I used a lot of different cut files for this layout. I love that The Cut Shoppe's files are so diverse they can be used with a bunch of different files, but they also stand alone very well too! I really can't get enough of these files!

I am seriously in love with the "It's a Snap" set! Those camera shutters with the hearts in the middle are just so stinkin cute I almost can't even stand it! I cut them out in black, but I also ungrouped the file in the Silhouette Studio and just cut out the teeny hearts to scatter around my page in pops of pink. I kinda love it! :)

The polaroid frame is also part of that set, and if you can imagine, there's even more on that file that I didn't even use! Awesome right?!

Summer and Slurpees

I wanted to pop in and share a layout with you that I made for Fleur's Scrapbook Nerd Summer Camp Challenge: "Summer Photos". All you have to do is scrap something that means Summer to you! 

When I was a kid, summer meant slurpees! So I thought this picture of Kieran slurpin back on his slurpee like it was going out of style was a perfect picture to use for this challenge!

A New Sketch Up At the Paper Bakery!!

Good Morning Bloggers! 

It is such a gorgeous day here today! I'm so happy that Spring is finally here!! I'm enjoying a lovely cup of coffee and contemplating getting ready for the day! (I love lazy Sunday mornings!)

It's time for another sketch over at the Paper Bakery. Something new to our sketches...they've been created by me! I thought I'd give sketch making a try, and I have to say, I kinda love it! I never thought I would because I don't usually find being on the computer to be a very creative outlet for me, but so far, I have really been having fun with it!

This is the second sketch I've made. I hope it inspires you to play along with us! And don't think you have to make a scrapbook layout...you can use this sketch for anything that inspires you! Album covers, cards, canvases, you name it! 

I'm just about finished using my Daylight Savings Scrapbook Kit from the Paper Bakery. I have had soooo much fun with this kit! I just love the versatility of it, and I also really enjoy being pushed out of my box! These colours aren't my usual style, but I have soooo loved using them! That's one of the great things about subscribing to a kit club, you get products that are all designed to be used together, but they can be used in so many different ways, and with so many different styles of scrapping all in one kit! 

I used some bits and pieces from my Daylight Savings Mixed Media kit for this layout too. I also used a super cute Exclusive Paper Bakery stencil from the February Capture 365 Kit.  The polka dot paper was actually just plain with scissors on it, but I used the stencil and my chalkboard paint with a makeup sponge and just pounced it over top of the stencil. I really love the way it came out! Totally loving the colour of that chalkboard paint too! Good thing, because the kit came with a GIANT bottle of it!

I just got the new Amy Tangerine Plus One Die set and I'm LOOOVING it! The Camera and the "Love" were cut with it. 

Oh, and how cute is that clock flair from the Paper Bakery?! Looove it!

Playing with Fancy Pants

Good Morning Bloggers!! 

I wanted to pop in to show you the projects I created this month with the goodies the fabulous ladies over at Scrapbook Nerd gave me to play with. 

This month they gave me the Fancy Pants collection "Collecting Moments". I really love the vintage vibe of this collection. They have some really fun retro embellishments!

I've been really into 8.5x11 layouts lately. I love how quickly they come together. I knew that these photos of Ethan would be perfect for this paper and I was right! Love how they go together :)

My second layout is also of Ethan. This picture was taken when we went on a sleigh ride this winter. I just love how it shows off his freckles...they're my favourite!  I am totally in love with the Amy Tangerine Phrase Thickers! I think I might need to get another pack of them! They're almost gone!

This was another photo from our sleigh ride. This picture of Kieran just makes me melt! I love that kid so much! 

I also put together a couple cards with this collection. I love the frames and die cut pieces! The flair pack is perfect for embellishments for cards too! 

I almost forgot! The Nerds are hosting another online crop starting this weekend! It's going to be a ton of fun because it's inspired by one of my favourite authors....DR. SEUSS!! There's going to be Seuss inspired challenges and games and lots of prizes to be won, so don't forget to stop over and register in the forum so you can play along! Someone Like You

Good Morning Bloggers! 

It's that time again for another amazing sketch by Ana Castro at Scrap & Music! This time our song is Adele's "Someone Like You". You can check out the lyrics here.

This time I kinda played a bit with the lyrics...I added some then added some that weren't...lol I'm not sure if that's allowed or not...but I did it ;) I'm kind of a rebel like that! haha!

I used the lyrics "Don't Forget"

But then I really wanted to add "these moments" in there too because it really captured what I wanted this layout to be about. The journaling starts with the title. It says "Don't Forget" the special bond you two have with each other. I pray this stays with you your whole lives." Ethan and Kieran have always had a very special bond and I love how they are with each other. This picture portrays that bond beautifully and I wanted to make sure to get it scrapped right away!

I absolutely LOVE the new Lemon Lush line from Studio Calico and I've been wanting to use it ever since I got my hands on it! I was very happy to get a chance to use it on this layout!

 I'm also finally getting some of that delicious Plus One collection!! I seriously want to squeal when I look at it! It is my ABSOLUTE favourite line yet! I love it!! I'm waiting on the rest of it to come in and I am getting impatient!! lol

I stayed pretty close to the sketch this time, but this sketch is so amazing, it does all the work for you! I do hope you play along with us this time! Be sure to stop by the Scrap & Music blog to see the rest of the DT's fabulous creations!!
