Happy Everything With Clique Kits

Hey Bloggers! I've been having a lot of fun playing with Clique Kit's 1st Anniversary kit Happy Everything! It's jam packed with one of my favourite manufacturers, Pink Fresh Studios! I LOVE this line! It's just amazing! It's full of  gold embossed fabulousness and bright coloured and funky patterns and you can't forget the puffy stickers...right Wendy?! lol!!

This first layout has such an old picture on it (it seems). It's from when Caleb (our 6 year old) was a baby! We took Ethan and Caleb to the carnival when it came to town, and Ethan went on the Ferris Wheel! I didn't get a good picture of him on it, but I really liked this picture, so I thought I would use it to tell the story!

You can check out my process with this layout on the Clique Kits blog here

I used a sketch from Stuck?! Sketches for the first layout, but I didn't get it linked up in time to play along...lol

This next layout I had a lot of fun creating! You can see how I played with the background at the Clique Kits blog!

I'm in love with those hearts and that wood veneer! Oh! Did you see the exclusive printables that I used here? I printed them on vellum to give them a soft feel to go with this paper :) I added one of the Pink Fresh rub ons to one of the tag printables in the top right corner. Those rub ons are amazing! They're the best ones I think I've ever used!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm off to bed now...at 2 am...YIKES!

Don't forget to use my coupon code SARAH10 at the Clique Kits Store for an extra 10% off your purchase (excluding kits)

Life is Good

Good Morning hot bliggity bloggers! ha!

I wanted to share a layout I made using this fabulous AC Dear Lizzy Wood Veneer paper that I got from Scrapbook Nerd I was in love with it when I saw it, but I have to admit it's a little girly, and with 4 boys it's hard to come by girly things to scrap about!! lol I thought this picture of Linden and I would be perfect for it though since I was in it, I could get away with some flowers and hearts and pink! HA!

.
I love the possibilities of this wood veneer paper! You could leave it raw, or bling it up as much as you want! It was super fun to play with!

Thanks for stopping by!!

New Sketch up at Paper Bakery!!

Good Morning my crafty peeps! There is a new sketch up at the Paper Bakery blog and you can win a 10 dollar store credit just for getting crafty with us!!

Isn't it a fun sketch?!

Here's what I made with it:

I used my Paper Bakery Umbrella Rain Scrapbook kit for this layout. I love that wood veneer frame! It actually has a cute little laser cut bow on the left hand side of it, but I thought it was a little too girly for a layout of my son (even though I've used pink butterlies, flowers and hearts! lol I just thought the bow might just be putting it over the edge I guess!!) Not to worry, I just put one of the fabulous flair buttons over top of it (did I mention that this month's kit comes with a WHOLE PACK OF FLAIR?! Whaaaaaa?! I know right?! craziness!) and then the bow is gone!

As someone who is kind of obsessed with butterflies, I was super excited to see this exclusive stencil in the scrapbook kit this month! I absolutely LOVE it!

I also used the exclusive cut files for March on this layout too! Loving those flowers!

Those cute epoxy hearts aren't from the kit, but they can be found at the shop.

The only other products that I used that weren't from my stash are the wood veneer hearts (studio calico).

I hope you join us and play along with this sketch! You have until March 15th to link it up on the blog!

Happy Scrapping!!

Nothing Else Matters

Good Morning! I hope you're enjoying your Sunday morning! It's time again for another fabulous sketch from the girls at Scrap & Music!!

And this time, the song to play along is....

(click on the song to see the lyrics)

I found this picture of Kieran at Christmas a couple years ago (I realized after I used my date stamp that I had the wrong year! ooops! Funny thing was I made 3 Christmas layouts from the same year and got it wrong on each one! My husband says "well at least you're consistent" lol)

Anyway, this was his second Christmas and it was the first time that he really got to have chocolate and he was in love! He didn't really care too much about anything else, but his chocolate. That's why I thought this picture would be perfect for the title "Nothing Else Matters" because honestly, nothing else did! lol

I am loving all things stars lately, and these wood veneer stars from Studio Calico are no exception!

How awesome is that adorable camera stamp from Evalicious?! Did I mention I have a *tiny* addiction to camera stamps?!

Well, there you have it! I really hope you play along with us this time! Don't forget to pop by the Scrap & Music blog to check out all the other fabulous DT member's layouts! There is a serious amount of inspiration there!!

Blessings,

Sarah

More December Daily

Hey there Bloggers! I hope you're all busy getting ready for the Holidays!! I know I am, and I'm kinda loving it this year!
I just wanted to pop in and show you some more of my December Daily pages that I have prepped for the month. This is the first time I'm been so ahead of the game on my DD album! Usually I'm making it in January!! This is a pretty picture heavy post, so I won't blab too long!!

I know this one doesn't look too Christmasy, but I did that on purpose because it's my oldest son's birthday on December 23rd, so I wanted to make a page just for him in my album!

This is just a filler page in the front because I had two pictures for my first page, so I put the first one on the back of this page.

These are the first of the completed pages with pictures and journaling
Sorry this picture is kind of blurry!

I'm going to link this up over at Life.Paper.Scrapbook for their project life-traditions challenge.

Hope you're getting into the Christmas Spirit!

Blessings
