Heidi Swapp and Epiphany Crafts Team Up (and a giveaway!!)

I just wanted to pop in and share these three layouts I made for the Heidi Swapp and Epiphany Crafts team up! They are up on the Epiphany Crafts blog today, so go check them out complete with close ups! There is also a giveaway on that post too! It's a good one too! So jump over there and check it out!!

For the first layout, I used this fab sketch from The Studio Challenges!

Ugh...lately I've been having bad luck with cameras! I lost my battery charger for my DSLR, and now I can't find my point and shoot either!! So I do apologize for the shoddy photography! I've been using my cell phone camera, and between that and the cloudy weather, it's not a good scene for getting a good picture of anything! LOL

Thanks for stopping by!

Back to School and On a Date with Epiphany Crafts!

Helloooo Bloggers!!
I wanted to pop in and share a couple layouts that were on the Epiphany Crafts blog a few days ago!
I’m soooo happy to say that I’m going to be sticking around on the Epiphany Crafts DT until December!! I am so very excited to be a part of this team!
Anyway, onto my layouts!  This year my second son has started Kindergarten and It’s definitely bitter sweet! I love that he’s growing into such a big boy, but I hate how fast it’s going by!
For this layout I used the Chevron 25 to point out the “2”. It’s one of my favorite shape tools out of the whole collection!

I also made this layout of a very rare occurrence in our house…Date Night! With 4 kids this doesn’t happen very often, but I love it when it does and I definitely want to document it! When our kids look back at my scrapbooks I want them to know that we not only loved being their parents, but we loved being married to each other too! So of course I had to use the Heart 25 tool for this one (Which just so happens to be our Shape of the Month…meaning IT’S ON SALE!!) I used it as a punch and also with the bubble cap. Love those things!

You can check out close ups to both of these layouts on the Epiphany Crafts blog!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Photo Bomb!! (and a tutorial)

 Good Morning my Crafty Beauties!
I'm up on The Cut Shoppe blog with this fun layout I made of our oldest son using the Captured on Camera cut file as a background!! Head on over there to check out the tutorial on how the background was done!

Our oldest son Ethan has decided that he likes to photo bomb every picture I take! Sometimes it's funny, other times it's just downright annoying! Especially when I'm trying to get a picture of one of our other boys who aren't exactly easy to photograph these days! This particular photo bomb really cracked me up though!

I absolutely LOVE this Ocean Melody collection from Webster's Pages and I was really excited to finally crack it open on this layout! Mind you, I only used one piece of paper from it, but I love it all the same! lol

The fun cork shapes, twine, enamel dots and the fab wood heart were from my Clique Kits Glam Camp kit, and of course I had to use some of those awesome Epiphany Crafts bubble caps too!

I just got this adorable little arrow punch from Studio Calico and I couldn't wait to use it! I think it adds the perfect touch to this layout!

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to head on over to The Cut Shoppe Blog and check out my tutorial!!

Glam Camp and Epiphany Crafts...What could be better than this?! (warning, photo heavy! may lead to overdose of inspiration!)

Goooood Morning Bloggers!
It's the Clique Kits Blog Share today featuring the gorgeous kit, "Glam Camp"! If you're hopping along with us and you came here from the ever amazing Katie's blog, then you're on the right track! If you just wandered in here and would like to check out all the fabulousness that is this blog share (and I highly recommend you do), then head on over to the Clique Kits blog to start it off!

Here's a list of all of the uber talented ladies that are sharing their projects using this FAB kit:

I made this mini album for a Guest DT spot over at Epiphany Crafts! I feel so honored to have been chosen to Guest for Epiphany Crafts! I have been in love with the Shape Studio tools since I first found them a few years ago, so it's a real blessing to be a part of their Design Team for a while! :)

When I opened up my Glam Camp kit, I knew it was going to go perfectly with these pictures of our vacation to Kelowna! I was right! ;) I used my Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Round 14 and the washi tape that came in the kit (which just so happens to be my favourite all time washi that I was almost out of, so I was sooooo happy to see it in the kit! yay for me!! lol), to make these fabulous custom epoxy shapes! Woohoo!

I just HAD to document this, because as a hairdresser my boys have NEVER had their hair cut by anyone else but me, but I had been SOOO busy that I just couldn't get it done, so the first thing we did before we even got all the way to Kelowna was to stop in Vernon and get the boys' hair cut! Caleb and Kieran liked it...Ethan, not so much! LOL!

Aren't these Chic Tags banner alphas adorbs?!! Also, this Heart tool is one of my new favs. Just sayin ;)

I used the Shape Studio Chevron 25 and made some adorable photo corners!
My husband's "mom away from home" just loved giving Linden his first freeze!! He loved it too! LOL!

Watercolour is so in right now and I had some scrap paper that I had painted for a different layout and I thought I'd try making some chevron bubble caps with them too...totally LOVE how they turned out! The watercolour paper was a little bit harder to punch through, but it worked!

I just LOVE this MME collection that was showcased in the Glam Camp kit! It's funny, because the first time I saw it I thought it was a bit too girly for me...but after using it, I am definitely in love and I managed to create an entire mini album full of pictures of 4 boys with it!

I tried something different with the Round 14 Bubble caps on the "play" page. I stamped those cute little hearts and embossed them in gold then created these super cute little embellishments! I still can't get enough of that amazing washi from last month's Clique Kits "A Midsummer Night's Dream"! le sigh...so in love! ;)

Do you think I might be a little obsessed with the Chevron?!  I've almost used up an entire package since I got them in the end of July! lol!

Linden was soooo funny on the beach for the first time! He just LOVED the sand! He didn't love it so much when he tried to eat it, but he definitely loved the feel of it!

My husband is such a good daddy! He has so much patience and grace for his boys! It's a huge blessing to see them working together doing "guy things" lol

I still have a whole bunch of this lovely kit left and I plan on digging into it tonight! Can't wait!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Now it's off to the amazingly talented Cassandra's blog!

Blessings!!
