Hi everyone! I'm so excited to finally be able to share this layout with you!! It's my very first reveal as part of the Scrap & Music Design Team!!
So I'm going to go over the details of how you play along with this challenge. It's easy, and really fun! I love stretching my creative "muscles" and challenging myself! For each sketch, we provide a song that goes with it. You have to use the lyrics in your title and make a layout based on the sketch! It leaves it way open for interpretation! I love that kind of challenge!!
Sooooo, without further Adieu, here's the sketch:
And the song is:
THAT'S AMORE
DEAN MARTIN
(In Napoli where love is king
When boy meets girl here's what they say)
When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie
That's amore
When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine
That's amore
Bells will ring ting-a-ling-a-ling, ting-a-ling-a-ling
And you'll sing "Vita bella"
Hearts will play tippy-tippy-tay, tippy-tippy-tay
Like a gay tarantella
When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool
That's amore
When you dance down the street with a cloud at your feet
You're in love
When you walk in a dream but you know you're not
Dreaming signore
Scuzza me, but you see, back in old Napoli
That's amore

Lucky Fella

That's amore,(amore)
That's amore
And here's the layout I made with the sketch and these lyrics:
I didn't want to make a typical layout with these lyrics and use the title or something about love. I saw the lyrics "Lucky Fella" and it made me think of this picture I took of my 3 year old Kieran this summer. We had bought him a fun dip candy thing that has the three different kinds of sugar and the sugar stick that you lick and dip in the other sugar and he was didn't want to wait to get all the sugar so he just poured it right into his mouth!! Sadly more than half of it ended up on his sweater instead!!
I really hope you play along with us! Go check out the Scrap & Music blog to see the rest of the Amazing Design Team's work and to get all the details of the challenge!!
Blessings
Sarah
